Overview 

Our web development workshop will focus on helping you understand how to build accessibility into the beginning stages of any project. We will look at the best ways to utilise WCAG techniques to develop accessible layouts, interactive features and also other web content. Finally, the workshop will also include a deep dive into writing code for accessibility and how browsers display the code you are writing.

  • Keyboard and navigation structures

  • How to approach text alternatives such as images, objects and media

  • How to test and verify your web applications

  • How to incorporate visual designs and dynamic components into web development

  • Best practices for accessible web development

  • To recognise and avoid common failures with accessibility web development
